Microsoft evolves its brand strategy to reflect Project Green NAIROBI, Kenya — November 2005 — Microsoft recently announced Microsoft Dynamics™, its new brand for “Project Green.” Microsoft Dynamics represents the company's ongoing strategy to develop a brand that is well aligned with its business management suite product and research and development (R&D) roadmap, which has been referred to as “Project Green.” The new brand represent Microsoft's strategy to align its products with its R&D roadmap formerly referred to as “Project Green” which centres a people and process-centric design approach to deliver breakthrough innovation in two significant release waves. As part of this move Microsoft Dynamics replaces both “Project Green” and Microsoft Business Solutions going forward as the family of business solutions that help small and midsize business, large organisations, and divisions of global enterprises automate and manage financial, operational, and customer relationship functions.
